we are planning to remote spring to try to reduce the number of open
PRs and issues, and do triage work.
This is planned for next Tuesday, October 14th, between 9:00 and 15:00
Pacific time. And everyone is invited to join in for as long as you
wish.

I wanted to provide more of an "end user" perspective than I think has been
present in this discussion so far. Over the past month, I've quickly skimmed
some emails on this thread and skipped others altogether. I am far from a NumPy

Sorry, its Tuesday the 15th [0]. Monday is a holiday in California at
least.
