On Saturday 9/13 I led a fall migration bird walk at the Hallockville Farm
ending up at the new Hallock State Park (working title). The highlight of the
walk were the thousands of immature and adult tree swallows, joined by a few
bank and barn swallows, hawking over the fields at the farm and
Early this morning, I had a Marbled Godwit (presumably the same bird
report by Seth Asubel). The bird was around the sand bar West across
from the Coast Guard Station. Note: I had this bird for about 5 mins
or so then lost sight of it and could not relocate it after.

9/13 Stratford, Sikorsky Airport -- Sunday. As of 8:00AM today the
Norther Wheatear has been seen on the fence and on the dirt piles back
and forth. Its now flow over to the far part of the airstrip.
