Its molting is mostly completed. First Record in CT, 2nd in the Northeast last
seen in early 1900's. Make the journey to see it. It a beautiful bird to see.

Seems like a good flight of Peregrine Falcons along the coast today. In an hour
and a half of casual observation in the East Hampton (Suffolk) area I've
already seen 7 moving west along the ocean beach front. Tallies might be higher
from more central localities like Fire Island or from the North
Just saw an adult PARASITIC JAEGER fly west to east about 500 yards offshore of
Coney Island. I am standing in a windbreak on the west side of the second
bathhouse east of the parachute jump.
