I've developed a table of species abundance by month and by season linking
to bar charts at eBird.org for the following areas including New York State,
9 southeast counties & 13 selected parks. This table is updated several
times a week.
Thursday, 24 February 2011 - Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City
The overwintering VARIED THRUSH is still around, and has been seen in
a variety of locations in & near the Ramble in the past week. It does
still stop by the original area it frequented -and did so again this
morning - the east

Red-shouldered Hawk
Shortly after 2 PM today, a flock of approximately 100 Common Redpolls
alighted briefly in the pines at the entrance to the campground, then
lifted up and departed to the east. Otherwise, things were very slow,
both land and sea.
