The Wildflower Meadow is at the north end of Central Park,
A female-type Blue Grosbeak has been present in the Wildflower Meadow
for the past hour. Check the western edge of the main fenced in area
of the meadow as well as the path along the west side by the Loch
(where one hung out for a few days last fall).

Joe Giunta, Sam Jannazzo, Debbie Martin and I (Sy Schiff) birder the Community
Garden, Corridor Park and then the Velodrome section. Visiting the latter area
was a first for us and we stopped to watch the bicycle riders on the track and
admire the the model

Clay-colored Sparrow-1 @ Camp Hero.

Making "shorebird withdrawal" a tad easier to deal with. 1 basic
plumage *Long-billed
Dowitcher* along with *5 Stilt Sandpipers* (3 juveniles and 2 basic
plumage) were some of the notables in 11 species of shorebirds on the East
Pond at Jamaica Bay. The *American White Pelican* continues as
Too funny. I just picked up my phone to report a Lark Sparrow at RMSP and saw
Doug's Post. Good news is its still here as of noon - 50 yards East of the
West end of the median.
