This afternoon I opted for checking the sod farms again, starting at Doctors Path, Riverhead, and ending with the fields on Main Rd. (Rt.25) Peconic. All told, I looked over 11 of them, without seeing 1 shorebird...yes, that is correct, not even a single Killdeer ! On Oregon Rd., Cutchogue, I
