today, on and around the trails around and between Decadon and Lily Ponds.

chart list of species with the current one picking up any additions or
deletions. By going to each county's 'Overview' page you can determine the

It was a relatively quiet morning at Hempstead Lake State Park this morning,
with a meager ten species of warblers. Highlights were our FOY Magnolia Warbler
and a singing Worm-eating Warbler on the horse trail. Two Solitary Sandpipers
were along the north end of the creek. Two Yellow-billed Cuck
A Tri-colored Heron is present at Pussy's Pond in Springs in East Hampton, NY
Tremendous work has been done on and around the pond including removal of many
of the phragmites.
