Did some birding along the northern fork of Long Island over the weekend. Very small numbers of shorebirds, nothing unusual - Black-bellied Plover, Ruddy Turnstone, Oyster Catchers. At the very tip of the north fork between Orient Point and Plum Island where flocks of Common Terns from the Gul
