I have been seeing a single Turkey vulture around my dock for weeks, today joined by a second one and escorted away by the pair of Ospreys who finally kicked out the Canada Geese from their nest this morning. Orhan Shelter Island -- NYSbirds-L List Info:

This morning I ran to the Town Dock at the end of Pine Neck Ave in E Patchogue. This is where the swan river enters the Great South Bay. There is an osprey tower with a pair of osprey (first year for a pair). A subadult (probably 2nd year) bald eagle flew above and was chased off by an
