Highlights: Eleven Species of Wood Warblers including Bay-breasted and
Blackburnian Warblers, adult American Goldfinch feeding a hatch-year bird at
Maintenance Field.
Canada Goose - 15
Mallard - 5

There was a Wilson’s Phalarope at the north end of Jamaica Bay Wildlife
Refuge’s East Pond (Queens) opposite the island. The water is still deep but
