Have had a hummer making multiple visits to my feeders today and possibly over
the last few days as well . Quite shy, so no ID yet but most likely a rufous.

1st Winter Black-headed Gull at Bush Terminal Park Kings Co.
Currently, >1,000 Gulls feeding way out just to the left of green buoy #9.
Cloud/Overcast conditions make for good visibility but I see the sun showing up
so that might change quickly. The wind has also picked
New York County, including Manhattan, Randall’s Island; & includes Governors
Island which latter is closed to the public until spring.
