Today, at ~ 1 pm, while returning home after a dentist appointment in
Wading River, I observed an immature Bald Eagle flying over the 4 H
property on Sound Ave, Riverhead.

At 4:30 pm, while pulling out our fading "annuals", heard before they were
seen, were a number of goose flocks flying, I suspect, from the corn fields
to the north, to Merritt's Pond, ~ a mile s/o our condo complex. Hopefully,
this pond will produce the quality of goose sightings as last winter, when
it held white-fronted, ross's and both morphs of snow goose.

Cheers,
Bob
