The White Pelican continues. It has flown off the lake twice while we
have been here, but after about 10 minutes has returned to sit on one of
the close islands.

birders were out at the North Channel Bridge observing the bird. Please refer

Karlo Mirth just called to report that the American White Pelican continues
at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. As indicated in previous e-mails, the bird
is on the beach side of the East Pond and could be seen from the North
Channel Bridge parking lot on the east side.Good luck if you go.
