The male Barrow's Goldeneye continued at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge
in Queens this morning, associating with 30+ or so Common Goldeneyes.
I watched it fly out at 7:07 AM, so get there early if you want it.
Best seen from a little past bench 7. A scope is mandatory. The bird
was distant, but distinguishable once I got on it.
