The Summer Tanager found this morning (~8:15) during the Great South Bay
Audubon field trip (co-led by Steve D'Amato and myself) was actually on
the orange end of the spectrum for a female SUTA, which momentarily led me
to think it was a female oriole when I first laid eyes on it. We managed to

The Blue Grosbeak was still at Gligo Beach this morning, feeding on the lawn at
the edge of the parking lot east of the snack bar. There were two Summer
Tanagers at Valley Stream State Park. An immature male with alot of red was
found by Gail Benson while many were searching for an all-green f
