Well it sure was a good day to be a birder!  Went to photograph the 
Black-headed Gull at Orchard Beach this early pm and got a 100 or so great 
shots of it in the lot.  When I got home at about 12:30pm I saw a Corn Crake 
was spotted on the Island so of course dropped everything and zoomed down 
there.  Even though there was traffic at the bridge I managed to get down there 
before the rain and had great looks at it for about 10 minutes!  How exciting!! 
 Never thought I'd see this bird in the US.  Wow, what a find.  Good job by the 
finders.
