6 snow buntings were seen atop main landfill this morning at Croton Point County Park in Westchester County. Feeding in the roadside grasses and waiting for very last moment to fly up at approach of passing runners and dog walkers and them circling back around to the roadside again.
Also seen was a flock of 32 American Pipits on mowed field south of main landfill. Two adult bald eagles were seen perching together in tree b/n main landfill and the RR bridge.
