This afternoon I spotted a *Rough-legged Hawk* circling over the Peconic River just *west* of the traffic circle in Riverhead. On Dune Road, *Two Great-Blue Herons* were wading in the marshes, a *Wilson's Snipe *was seen feeding directly East of Dolphin Ln., *Two Northern Harriers* flew over the frozen marsh and* two Peregrine Falcons* were briefly scene on the north side of Triton Ln. Also, Dune Rd. is accessible even by sedan, but it is extremely icy so proceed with caution.
