A Summer Tanager, looking like a year old male, made a couple of visits to the Forest Park waterhole in late morning and mid-day. A Mourning Warbler also made a brief appearance around the waterhole, while singing once or twice. A Yellow-throated Vireo also sang and appeared, as it passed through the waterhole area. It's kind of late for this species to be migrating, so there is a potential for a rare Queens nesting. Or maybe just a "floater" trying to figure out where to go.
