Bruce Nott, finder of the Neotropic Cormorant at the Newburgh Waterfront, found another mega yesterday, a third winter Glaucous-winged Gull at the same location. The bird was sought around both sides of the river this morning and was finally refound by Liam Brock et al roosting and preening on the ice on the Beacon side around 1:00 pm, where it was seen by many birders. It flew off to the north at one point but did return to that location thereafter. Good luck if you go for it. Patricia Lindsay and Shai Mitra Bay Shore
