The Smith's Point, LI Glauous Gull was present this morning in the parking lot at the COunty Park. This bird has been present on and off since at least early summer. Digiscoped photos taken with my iphone can be seen at

Otherwise, fair numbers of Yellow-rumped Warbler and a huge flight of D-cr Cormorants. Every time I turned away from watching the ocean, a flocks of several hundred were passing westward up the bay. One Caspian Tern and several Royals passed offshore heading west.
