[nysbirds-l] Jones Beach West End: Brant and Hermit Thrush

Hi Everyone, I was by the Coast Guard Station around 1pm checking for wintering ducks/ late shorebirds - not much going on with that - saw lots of Brant, (huge flock flying in), Canada Geese, Gulls and Comorants. (I noticed that the "spit" can be hopping one minute and be totally dead later on.)
