This has been a very good year for Lark Sparrows on Long Island, and today yet another appeared at Robert Moses SP, Suffolk County. It was on the edge of the golf course, near the four-wheel drive road. Otherwise it was a slow day on the beach, with a light flight of American Goldfinches and Red-winged Blackbirds, a few Pine Siskins, and two Snow Buntings.
