At Manhattan's (in N.Y. City) Central Park, an adult Lark Sparrow was
continuing in the same area of the north end of that park to Monday, August
29th, photo’d. again and with multiple observers. Other migrants also are

Had it feeding on the ground, east of the handball courts around 8am.
Repeatedly flushed by unleashed dogs and when last seen had retreated to a tree
adjacent to the fence and Rec building. Patrick Shure got photos.

Gary Strauss just called to report that the Lark Sparrow continues at WE2. He
indicated it is currently near the eastern most exit of the lot.
Many thanks to Gary who in his own words felt that a "+" report would be
welcoming news to those folks leaving work who might want to try for the bird.
The lark sparrow is still by west end 2.
