Bob Washburn and I are viewing the Pink Footed Goose with Canadas in the field
at the Northeast corner of Roanoke Avenue and Joyce Drive. Just a mile south of
the Buffalo Farm at Reeves Avenue.

Took off with a small group of Canadas. We observed it landing in the field
north of Reeves Drive and south of Sound Avenue, east of Roanoke. Geese are
starting to congregate here but we haven't relocated the PFGO yet.

A Pink-footed Goose was sleeping on the ice at Merritt's Pond in Riverhead,
Long Island this morning, very likely the same bird that was present nearby in
January. The only way to view this pond is from the road in a quiet residential
neighborhood, so extra courtesy is in order.

One of the Pink-footed Geese is currently in the field on the north side of
Reeve's Ave, just east of Roanoke Ave, in a flock of about 750 Canadas. Quite
a bit of heat distortion.
A single Greater White-fronted Goose and a Cackling Goose were seen in the
southernmost field on the east side of
