I have seen a distant photo of the bird and to me it does not reconcile with Nelson’s. For one it looks way too pale. Its not a Glaucous Gull either. It could be a very bleached or leucistic Herring Gull but I’d like to see better images. Either way it’s a pretty cool looking bird. Nice find.
