Though the Snow Goose flock at the Camel Farm took off this morning, they returned in about an hour. Down to about 1,000 birds at this time, the Ross's Goose was immediately spotted. They remained at the farm for the remainder of the morning and were still present when we passed by at 1 pm. About 20 minutes after our arrival, Renee Davis spotted the Tundra Swans flying in. They landed in the smaller pond off the left of the main pond. All birds were still present at last look. The first winter Ross's was not seen today to my knowledge, but the flock was down by at least a couple of thousand birds. John Haas Wurtsboro, New York --
