Hi All, Several birders this morning had looks at the continuing (since 12/8) CLAY-COLORED SPARROW at Marshlands Conservancy in Rye. Affording good comparison were three other members of the Spizella genus--CHIPPING (1), FIELD (1), and a few dozen American Tree. The ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER appeared briefly, 3 DUNLINS continue on the mudflats, the PILEATED WOODPECKER (good for Rye) was around, and a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK stopped by as well.
