Hi everyone, a friend of mine in Pennsylvania just brought to my attention a
report that appeared on the PA Birds listserv. The entire post follows:

Subject: Off-Topic - Yellow-billed Loon New Yok
From: Frank Haas <fbhaas AT PTD.NET>
Date: Sat, 7 Nov 2009 13:46:20 -0500
Bob Schutsky just called (Saturday 11/7 1:40PM) to report a
Yellow-billed Loon at Montauk. It was seen from near the closed
restaurant in the state park. It was seen drifting towards the
lighthouse. It is in "more breeding plumage than winter plumage."

If anyone has any New York contacts, please pass this on.
