While observing the eagle nest at the Croton station I noticed a pair of ravens
flying towards the St. Augustine Church on the other side of the Croton River
in Crotonville.  As I watched I saw them in turn going in and out of the
steeple of the church a few times and also sitting on top of the church.  As I
figured there was a nest in there I decided to check it out and low and behold
there it was in the belfry on top of the bell.  They really are nesting all
over Westchester now.  Pretty cool.
I also had a pair with food flying low towards Rte. 1 from the beginning of
North Ave. in New Rochelle most likely heading to a yet to be found nest.  I
decided to take a quick check of where they nested on Rte. 1 in the center of
town in 2012, but just remains of the nest were there.  Oh well someday I'll
find it.
