I’ve had several recent sightings of Glossy Ibis in the same general area.   There are fields just to the north of baseball heaven both north and south of the LIE. The Suffolk County Farm, sod fields, etc on Yaphank Rd are a stones throw to the east (as the ibis flies). I have seen them
