I had a Chuck-will's-widow singing at the T intersection of Napeague Meadow Road and Lazy Point Rd. in Napeague (Amagansett) this evening at around 8:45pm. The bird then flew from its perch directly over my head. Pretty cool. There were Whip-poor-wills at almost every stop along the Western end of Napeague Meadow Road.
