Indonesia largest coal mining producer controlled by Bakrie family, PT Bumi 
Resources Tbk (BUMI) is hungry for debt. The company is seeking a minimum 
US$500 million of external financing in a bid to support capital expenditure 
and business expansion.
BUMI's President Director Ari Saptari Hudaya said the company is pondering two 
financing options such as issuing new shares without preemptive rights and a 
possible launch of mandatory convertible bond.
