Arpeni to Pay Dividends of IDR6 per Share

StockWatch (Jakarta) - PT Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line Tbk (APOL) has decided to
pay dividends for the 2006 fiscal year with value of IDR6 per share or totally
IDR17.9 billion.
Arpeni Pratama's director Ronald Nangoi said the total dividend value is
approximately 9.3% of the 2006 net profit that reaches IDR193.5 billion.
Nangoi said the rest of the net profit which is IDR100 million will be kept as
reserve and the other rest will be retained. "The withheld profit will be used
for financing the company's business expansion," he said after the company's
public expose today (2/5) in Jakarta.
Arpeni booked net profit of IDR193.95 billion (IDR65 per share) in 2006, rising
by 14.95% versus IDR168.72 billion (IDR67 per share) in 2005.
The net profit was backed by the sales that increased 15.38% at IDR1.35
trillion whilst the operating profit rose 6.82% from IDR294.28 billion to
IDR314.35 billion.
But the company's profit margin stepped down at 14.37% from 14.42% whereas the
operating profit margin decreased at 23.29% from 25.15%. (sup/bud)
