I dont know if anyone has noticed , but in Irwell Street the one street
light , about halfway down the road (Just past Beth Ratha House), has been
turned so that the entire light is facing toward the left and not straight
down . Not only is Irwell Street a hot spot and we do not have adeq

day. Noted this last week end.
The street lights have now been fixed, yet I note that they are on at
night and some where between 03H00 and 04H00 they are switched off
leaving the streets in darkness yet again.

At 11pm I heard suspicious noises and saw a black man with beige hat
(round cotton cricketer type) peering over my six foot wall. I ran to
get my phone and then saw him climbing up again. He saw me calling my
neighbour to summon the police and disappeared from sight. It

and give him workin doing so they not only lose their own
posessions but they provide him with a wonderful opportunity to case
out the street/area and steal from the nearby houses.
