Thank you James. It is so good when a citizen joins in the struggle and
takes positive action.
Playing the blame and complain game is much easier but it doesn't achieve a
thing.

take it up with Mariette Griesel and Bryan Watkins whose name appears
on the plaque to commemorate the opening. Remember this Village Green
cost about R2 millionish I am sure Sub Council 15 will not be please
to be reminded of this and perhaps it will sting them into action to
srot it out. It is b
Some time ago (maybe 10 years!) I found that it belonged to the Metro

Rather try OBSID - they were the ones who planted the gardens there and
organised the watering fountains - where people now wash!
Do I dare open a hornets nest again and ask where are our foot patrollers?
How do cameras in LMR assist me in Arnold St? How do they help with
Station Road problems?
I seem to remember when it it was redeveloped, it fell under Sports & Rec.

I COULD be wrong, but I don't think the Village Green is the responsibility
of City Parks. Ebrahim does Barrington, Kiddies and Arnold - with
conscientiousness. For *many *years there has been a debate as to who is
responsible for the Village Green. I believe OBSID will know. Or try

just sad that our most visible stretch of open ground is so shabby and
unloved.
I'll ask Paddy, thanks for the info!

Hi Rosemary
Who to write to at OBSID? I do not know if they are aware of the druggies
and the mess that is now all over Station Road
The inconvenience of getting a key must be seen in light of the fact that
we have many homeless folk living on the village green an surrounds. I had
an accidental altercation with a homeless guy on saturday and got his blood
