Of course you could just lock your car the old fashioned way with the key.
I under stand larney Cars might not have that functionality any more.  But
surely the still have the one beep and wink for lock and the two for
opening or vice versa?  User beware or in this case user be aware.

The old standard of walking arround your car and trying each one an d the
boot will also work.  Not all modern technology is better,  easier and more
convenient at first but the ultimate inconvenience is having your car
broken into without forced entry,  your insurance will not be nice about it
I would imagine
