I have finished my updates to the data-smoothing package and have 
commited to svn.

I have completely rewritten the interface for regularization data 
smoothing, consolidating to one primary function file that takes several 
options.  I apologize to users of the previously named functions, but 
now future improvements should only be the addition of new options.
