Interesting idea. One way to approach it would be to declare your key elements as Product Identity, and include a limited license granting the user the ability to use these PI elements in their work providing that:
1) they identify these PI elements as belonging to your system
2) they reproduce the limited license in their work
3) and the profits from the sale of the work are donated to charity.

Verifying that #3 happens, and defining what the "profits" are, would be potentially difficult, but if it were me I woudn't worry too much about it & just trust the honorableness of people who published under this limited license.

Subject: [Ogf-l] Question about creating a specific kind of open license forCharity.

What I am considering doing is a bit of a shift from that. I am thinking of putting together a system/brandname with certain key elements in it, and offering the concepts out to anyone to use in their own publications, but with one proviso: That all profits from these derivative products be given to charity. I would naturally be offering my services to publish these subsidiary materials, but also want to allow others to go off on their own and publish under their own branding. I guess something akin to the M&M superlink concept is where I am going with this.

Is there a way to do this? If so, do you have any recommendations on how I would proceed in writing such a license?
