We already have registers for four status effects, right? Why not more -- and
user-definable?
Suggestions for a customization scheme:
- Stat changes (fixed, as a % of the register, and as a % of current/maximum)
- Stat changes per time (same)
- Bitset changes
- Register decrement per time
- Reset stats when effect ends? (configurable by stat)
And then convert the existing status effects to the new scheme, so that users
can edit those, too.
