I'm just wondering, are there any plans to begin work on a completely new
artwork design for OI? I think we all need to kinda move beyond the usual
Nimbus-based art for JDS (which I personally think screams "bootleg OS X"
too much, style-wise.)

Could always do a throwback to the CDE era looks-wise, but spruced up with
some modern looks/ideas. And besides, I've barely seen any distribution use
a non-standard panel layout in Gnome nowadays (though, OpenSUSE and Mint use
a single pane layout with a more Windows-like layout and a different me

I like
You don't see?
- Some of the elements look close to say, 10.2. Especially the tabs and

I was thinking that maybe we could evolve from Nimbus somehow. Somehow
keeping elements/ideas from it, but applying them in new ways. I was looking
at that Murrine engine, it has a lot of options, and I mean a lot. And don't
forget, if we do change the default, there's nothing stopping you from

We thought about this in the past...with no success :)

Perhaps maybe.
Anyway, now that I have a wiki account (and once I figure out the nuances of
Confluence), I'm think I'm gonna start setting up something. Not sure what
