I see that Sender's names on the list, for Yahoo users, are displayed as
''OpenIndiana Developer mailing list" to me, instead of seeing who is
actually sender to the list.
Wasn't that thing supposed to be solved some time ago?

yes, it is solved by moving away from Yahoo.
That is the only real solution
to this problem.
