Albert Astals Cid, if okular is not a PDF editor, you should consider to remove
the annotation capability completely and restrict it to pure viewing.

Ah, thanks, setting the author before editing is a viable way to go. Changing
it afterwards on a per annotation basis might be tedious, but much better than
not being able to change it at all. So I am fine with
