sense regarding line scrolling in kate -- also smooth / instantaneous. Could it be a performance issue? Seems unlikely as Okular is not saturating the CPU (a Ryzen 9 5950x...), and scrolling should be pretty straightforward (unsure how much rendering is batched internally, though). Cheers, Tim
