            Bug ID: 318576
Summary: feature request: parallel rendering of pages
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: okular
           Version: 0.15.5
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org
          Reporter: darko.vebe...@ung.si

my default view is page thumbs on the left and fit page on the right. lately,
more and more pdfs are quite heavy on processing. pages render slowly and i end
up staring at the blown-up thumbs for ages before they are replaced with true
renderings. on the other hand, my 4 core cpu never gets above 25% which is
somehow a waste of time. is it possible to render pages in parallel on all
available cores?

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
slow rendering on one core

Expected Results:
faster rendering on all cores
