George, Yes, that's what I thought. I didn't even consider impurities but was worried about shadowing. Same reason you cant rechrome rims with a deep set for the trim ring. Chrome doesn't flow into spaces that have parallel surfaces. If anyone else has any tips let me know. I didn't take

I have a 49 216 out of my 49 3600. It ran when I pulled it out, but had low compression. It is just worn out, needs a complete rebuild. It will be next week before I can ck the number, it's in a warehouse on a pallet. I saved it for some unknown reason. It's free for picking it up - the parts I'm k
