I don't know what kind of valve guides were used by the head shop. (supposedly
the most respected head shop in Tucson)
If it runs OK for 5K miles, it will be probably more than I will drive it.

in my experience the best ratio for normal diameter tires(30-31") and no
overdrive is around 3.31 ratio.
I had a 3.36 in my 52 and I have a 3.31 in my 50
both allow freeway speeds with still enough "getupandgo"
