Yeah it didn't make the ride any more uncomfortable as the seats don't do much in that department. Your suspension is what really affects ride comfort. On the hog rings I bent each end over to help it hold the springs this also put the sharps ends in a direction where they can't be touched. After f

Hey Guys! I'm 6' 5" and was tired of hunching over just to sit in my truck and not being able to see stop lights. So I took my seat apart to lower it. I ended up partially compressing each spring and securing them in their compressed state with two hog rings on each spring. Here's a link to a pic
