end against a handy utility pool and with a cutting torch all bolts were cut
and bed was out in minutes. Easy when you have nothing that needs saved.

Debra, ordered my new wiring harness from Chevy Duty. Most of the venders
carry them. Been running mine for about 6 months with no problems. Product
and instructions seemed good quality. Had a friend help me out with install
only because I really have a block when it comes to wiring. I'

Hi to all. Thought I'd get some input from list about my heater motor. I
now have a 6 volt motor and a 12 volt system. I have tried a voltage reducer
but it got so hot it burned the wires were they attached to it. And the
motor did not work with it. (Worked before with 6 volt). The volt

Karen, my 53 was originally "commercial red". I had the body work and paint
job done by a pro. They did modern base coat, clear coat. Came out really
nice, but pretty spendy. Color was matched by some sort of computer at paint
store. Came out to be a red used on Acura cars.

opening of draft tube in crank case. It attaches with two screws from

I replaced my rear main seal and pan gaskets. That cured almost all oil

Drove mine for first time since I dismantled it 10 years ago! I 'bout went
crazy! Drove like brand new. Still test driving to track down a few oil
leaks. I have read about guys finally driving after restore. Finally I can
tell all that are still working on there's that the day does com
I also wanted more circuits. I ran a 10 gauge wire off main connection at
starter to inside cab. There I mounted a fuse block I ordered from Parts
Express. It doesn't look stock but doesn't show either. Gives me 4 extra
circuits right from source.

Everything seemed to work o.k. But noticed after driving I had a pretty bad
oil leak. It was coming from the pan that covers the flywheel
