Hey guy,
I just purchased a restored '52 Chevy pickup. The gear shift controller on the
steering
column under the hood locks up and the shift lever can not be moved. I can free
it up by
jiggling it by hand. It does not look original and looks fairly new so it has
been replaced by a
former ow
Most of these shift problems can be corrected by adjustments. If the shifter
components are badly worn then they may need replaced before it it will ever be
just right.
I'm going to have to assume that this column is an original Chevy and not
